Idea and implementation: Troed / SYNC
The number of songs and authors don't match sndh.atari.org since no subtunes <10 seconds are included here for obvious reasons, and also we treat the composer's field somewhat differently. Their way is of course the better way.
To get good results when matching via microphone you need ... a good microphone. Sorry, turns out that chiptunes are a bit harder to do this kind of matching with compared to boomer music. Also, while psgplay is absolutely fantastic it doesn't generate the exact same waveforms as a real machine which adds complexity.
